A million Scoville heat units, what does that mean?

Rob Stone from ESPN gets acquaintance with one of the hottest chili peppers in the world, the Bhut Jolokia (also know as Naga Jolokia).
When you take a bite of this chili pepper and Chili Pepper Institute Director’s Paul Bosland tells you that’s “a million scoville heat units” the world’s hotter pepper, taking a second bite wondering if that “was a dumb move” it surely was!

Bhut jolokias are pure fire. If I would eat one of these, I could only take tiny nibbles off at a time, taking a good minute or two between bites. These definitely aren’t for the faint of heart!
